Royal Challengers Bangalore were under the spotlight as they were coming on the back of a poor last season. One of the most glamorous franchises in the IPL, the Virat Kohli-led RCB have never won the tournament. They, as expected, retained Indian skipper Virat Kohli & AB de Villiers, but threw up a surprise by retaining Sarfaraz Khan. RCB has always had a strong batting line-up and this season will be no different. They have made some great buys in Brendon McCullum and Quinton de Kock.
RCB Possible XI
1. Quinton De Kock (wk)
4. AB de Villiers
10.Nathan Counter Nile
11. Yuzvendra Singh Chahal
Things Captain Virat Kohli can try-
Opening with Washington Sundar because he can play classy innings as well as he had experience of opening in TNPL. More Over he is the man of the series.
Mandeep Singh as the 6th batsman is not to play destructive innings just to play handy knocks with lower down order batsmen when top order fails.
Choosing. Quinton De Kock over Patel because he can start and pick up his game and also a Natural run-getter. On a good year, he can give 500 runs and very good behind stumps.
Umesh Yadav out of any Indian fast bowler because he had good experience on Indian surface and can open the attack and also good handy batsman.
So far I think I covered all areas and types having 3 types of spinners. The batsman in opening middle and lower down. Fast Bowlers Who could pick wickets in powerplay and control in death.Mostly Sundar will open attack with Nail or Yadav.Remember the best chasing batsman and his team failed to chase the total in finals for 3 times. So we need stability and power hitting players balanced the squad.
