KKR has disappointment in the IPL auctions and their chances of doing well in this years IPL seems a little low but you never know which team can perform better than you.
Let see Playing XI of KKR-
Chris Lynn – With an average of 38 and a strike rate of 150+ Lynn is without a doubt one of the most impactful batsmen in this IPL.
Robin Uthappa (c) – With 3700+ runs and am an orange cap to his name this guy is one of most experienced batsman out there as far as IPL is concerned. Taking into account his experience I will also make him the captain.
Shubham Gill – An average of 60+ in first-class cricket ( has played only two games in which he has already scored one triple century ) and 170+ in the u-19 t20 world cup this guy has the caliber to play well in IPL.With such attacking batsmen at the top of the order, he can give a little stability by holding on to one side and play throughout 20 overs.
Andre Russel – This guy is one of the most dangerous all-rounders in IPL having already scored 500+runs at a strike rate of 170+ and 31 wickets in 34 games that he has played this guy has the caliber to destroy any bowling side.
Dinesh Karthik (W)(C) – Karthik might not be the most consistent batsmen but with an experience of playing for India and also scoring around 3000 runs in IPL he is a decent batsman and will play an important part in Kolkata this year.
Sunil Narine – Everyone who has watched last year’s IPL knows this guy can bat and his bowling skills are known to the whole world he doesn’t need any introduction.
Nitish Rana – 437 runs in 15 IPL inning at an average of 30+ and 4 fifties this guy has made a name for himself in last years IPL.
Kuldeep Yadav – This guy has become a regular part of the Indian spin attack and everyone knows how dangerous this guy can be along with Narine I think Kolkata probably has the best spin department.
Mitchell Starc – With 350 international wickets, 28-year-old Starc is a modern day legend and he too like marine needs little introduction. He is the x-factor for the kkr.
Kamlesh Nagarkoti – Kamlesh who made his name in the recent u-19 world cup is the future of Indian fast bowling. He can constantly bowl at 140+ with accuracy, under starc he will have a lot to learn.
Vinay Kumar – An experience of over 100+ IPL matches and 100+ IPL wickets this guy has got what it takes to make an impact.
Now does this team look weak ??
Look at the bowling they probably have the best spinners ( Narine and Kuldeep Yadav).
In fast bowling too they have Starc ( no introduction needed ) Russel ( can bowl at 145 ) Kamlesh ( A rising star ) Vinay Kumar ( A veteran with over 100 wickets ).
In batting they have Uthappa ( a one time orange cap holder with over 3000 runs in IPL ), Lynn ( a destructive opener ) , Shubham gill ( a youngster with an average of over 170 in u-19 world cup which is mind-boggling in itself, even Virat didn’t have such a record in his u-19 world cup ) , Russel and Narine ( both of whom can play game-changing cameos ) Nitish Rana ( who has a great IPL record so far ) and there is Karthik too.
So overall this team looks good.
At the end of the day what matters is what they do on the ground.
