IPL 2018: Changed timings to grab more eyes

This is for sure that the screen will catch the eyes of all fans from April 7 as it is the day the most awaited and the most watched tournament is going to start Live on the channels till May 27 and we can say that it will increase the traffic too leading the saas-bahu serial at the back of the screen.

There is a little change in the timings of the IPL as the match which started at 8:00 pm will start at 7:00 pm. Besides, the first of the double-headers has been postponed from 4 pm to 5:30 pm but with an issue of overlapping between the two matches but the broadcaster said that they have enough channels to show the game simultaneously.

IPL Chairman Rajeev Shukla said that the GC had taken this decision after consulting the broadcaster and the broadcaster has also requested for a change in timings as it gets too late in the night if the game starts at 8:00 pm.

The reason behind this change in timings is to draw more IPL fans inside the stadium, as well as in front of the TV screen and internet. There will be only one opening ceremony on April 6 this time as BCCI has restricted it. The first match will be played on April 7 in Mumbai and the same venue will host the final on May 27.
