Analysis of First Inning

MI Batting-Rohit and Lewis are at the crease. Rohit is on strike. Chahar will open the attack.The first ball in Vivo IPL 2018 played by Rohit Sharma & no run is scored. CSK batting-Watson and Rayudu are at the crease. Watson is on strike. McClenaghan will open the attack.McClenaghan bowls his first ball of IPL 2018 at 134.1kph to Shane Watson. CSK start was not as thrilling as it was when Hyden opens inning for CSK.Watson hit’s six on 36th ball of Hardik Pandya and the next ball he got caught to Lewis.Then the MR IPL came i.e Suresh Rains CSK fans have a lot of expectation from his, in the beginning, he started rotating the strike it looks like he is the mood of a big inning but suddenly he got out it shook the CSK batting lineup. Kedar Jadhav came manage to build his inning on the other hand wickets kept on falling. In the 12th Over Kedar got muscle cramp so he leaves the field at that point score was 84/6. Dwayne Bravo played a wonderful inning of 68 runs in 30 balls by hitting 7 sixes and 3 fours at a strike rate of 226.67.Hats off to Kedar Yadav who was injured but came to the field when his team was in a difficult situation and made winning runs for CSK.

MI Bowling-Hardik Pandya bowled very well in spite of his injury, he managed to take 3 wickets in 4 over by giving only 24 runs.McClenaghan was most expensive bowler among the MI bowlers conceded 44 runs in 4 runs had one wicket in hand.Mayank Markande has bowled superb, young spinner performing effectively in the first match.He has taken 3 crucial wickets with an economy of 5.75.

Man of the Match: Dwayne Bravo, for his all-around performance (4-0-25-0 & 68 off 30 balls)

Conclusion-CSK won the match by 1 wickets, the hero was Dwayne Bravo who has performed with both bat & ball and CSK have open there season with the win. Postive point for MI from this match was Mayank Markande who is extremely talented and young using his talent in the right way will be important for Rohit.
