“Changed technology behind the VIVO IPL 2018 to adhere viewer with a new experience of watching the tournament “ promised by STAR INDIA  after winning the IPL media rights for five seasons (2018-2022) for Rs 16347.50 crore and the consignment was not outrageous said by STAR INDIA chairman CEO Uday Shankar.

For the first time ever, IPL will catch the screen on 10 TV channels and HOTSTAR, in 6 languages- Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali. Hotstar will be lashed with the power of technology and innovation to bring the most energetic and soothing experience while watching the match the users will avail the facility of check-ins, and live scorecards on handheld phones.

STAR INDIA  aimed to reach out to 700 million faces across the globe with the availability of Super Fan feed across cable, DTH and on Hotstar.

“The Best news of all the time is that with the use of technology the IPL fans will not have to suffer the lagging of 5 minutes between the live match and the Hotstar, they can stream the live match without any lagging,” says STAR INDIA in the VIVO IPL retention event.
